What inspired you to become a DJ?

I've always had a passion for music and the way it brings people together. Over the years, that passion evolved into DJing, giving me the opportunity to create memorable moments and unforgettable atmospheres through music.

How did you get started with Iconic DJs?

I've been part of the Iconic DJs team for over 10 years, sharing the same commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment and packed dancefloors at every event.

What’s your favourite part about performing at weddings?

Seeing everyone on the dancefloor enjoying themselves is always the highlight. There's nothing better than watching family and friends celebrate together, and it's especially rewarding when the bride and groom come over at the end of the night to say thank you.

What genres do you love mixing most?

Bhangra, Bollywood, R&B, Afro House, Commercial Hits and Open Format sets. I enjoy blending different genres to create a unique experience that keeps every generation on the dancefloor.

How do you approach building a set for a wedding or event?

Every event starts with reading the crowd from the moment guests enter the room. I pay close attention to the energy, demographics, and reactions throughout the night, allowing me to build the set organically and keep the dancefloor full from start to finish.

What’s one song you secretly love dropping into a set?

Look Lak – Roshan Prince. The moment the lyrics drop, you can count on the crowd to sing-along. It's one of those tracks that never fails to bring people together and create an unforgettable dancefloor moment.

What’s been your most memorable wedding or event so far?

Every wedding is memorable in its own way. Being part of such an important day in a couple's life and helping create lasting memories is what makes each event special.

Have you worked at any standout venues or large-scale productions?

I've had the opportunity to perform at a range of prestigious venues, like the Battersea Arts Centre, as well as numerous venues across the UK and internationally.

What makes you different from other DJs in the scene?

My ability to read a crowd quickly and adapt in real time is what sets me apart. Combined with fast, seamless mixing and extensive knowledge across multiple genres, I focus on keeping the energy high and the dancefloor engaged throughout the event.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

When I'm not behind the decks, I'm an accountant by day.

What’s your pre-event ritual or routine?

Preparation is key. I make sure everything is organised, from playlists and music libraries to equipment checks, so I can focus entirely on delivering the best experience on the day.
